SINAI FIRE TRAGEDY

When I analyze the resent fire tragedy at MUKURU slums in Nairobi, I get disgusted with the politics of Kenya, Considering the pipeline company has many times in the past warned the squatters on the dangers of linving along the pipeline, an area which is protected.
I am disgusted to know that the area politicians told the residents to resist any eviction efforts. They even encouraged the illigal residents to continue living along the petrolium pipeline, telling them it was "Kenya" and Kenya is a "free" country.
Now, after the tragedy, the same politicians lead goons to storm the pipiline company offices and to demand to know how the pipeline company is going to help them. isn't that a Joke.
Anybody living along the pipeline do so illigally since the government gave the pipeline a lee way as a National interest.
The people living there don't own the land and have no title and legitimate right to be there.
The company played its part to warn people against settling there. The company lost because of the overwhelming opposition they received from the politicians.

My last question is this, WHEN WILL NAIROBI VOTERS STOP ELECTING MORONS FOR THEIR LEADERS.

Don't get me wrong, I am not patronizing the deaths in the infernal, every life is precious, but I can bet that had there been mature leadership on the part of the politicians, this tragedy would have been avoided.

Sinai Fire tragedy personal commentary.
