Who is Mageria?

A Mageria's Interview with Dan Phillips.



John Mageria is a video and Motion Graphics Artist, He is a graduate of Madison Media Institute, Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, and Bells Institute of Technology, Mageria also went to Shangtao Media College but never graduated there but instead transferred to Madison Media Institute to finish what he had started at Shangtao Media.
Mageria is creative and has an Interesting background both in Media and Engineering; He is experience in documentaries, commercials, music videos and performing art in film and Drama. He gives credit to Madison Media institute for modeling him into an expert he is today. Many Kenyan youth who are acquainted to him and aspire for a career in media and Engineering look for him for advice and mentorship.
Mageria always welcomes new ideas and suggestions to help in the improvement of the trades he engages in, he like teaching and training while giving a share of his skills. He believes that teaching is learning twice; do not hesitate to shot a question to him at mageria@kenyanfilm.com

Animated Films Rising in Popularity

Animated films have continued to rise in popularity over the years. From the first Toy-story to the new remake of Toy-story in 2010, animators have continued to succeed in animated movies. Toys-story 3 and Alice in the Wonderland were a big success for 2010. Shrek 4 the final Chapter continue to gain as people buy the DVD which was recently released for Christmas season. The package version for this DVD is also available which include all the Shrek releases in one package. It is a good deal for those who want to have a collectors bundle or never watched the previous movies; One, Two, and Shrek 3.

“Toy Story 3 is the highest-grossing animated film ever, and the first animated film to bank $1 billion. Reports put this as the first time that four animations – the other three being Despicable Me, How to Train your Dragon and Shrek Forever After – have made it to the Top 10 highest-grossing films of the year, and the fifth time two animated features are in the Top 5 after 1995, 1999, 2001 and 2004.” (Nation Media Group)
